I decided to wrap up my blog with this one last post. The last three weeks of my study abroad was filled with preparing for my final exam, biking around Copenhagen , and packing up to go back home to Hawaiʻi. I was really sad about having to leave but also excited for more routine and getting back to work once I was back in Hawaiʻi.

My exam was in person in Amager, and unfortunately 30 minutes away from my dorm by bike. Exams are really daunting and go by faster than you would expect. So if you go to CBS I would highly recommend coming prepared for them from the moment you come into the exam room. Also, make sure to come very early to prepare and pay close attention to the instructions.

After this exam was done, I was free!

Final Days in Copenhagen

Leaving CPH:

The last couple of days were mainly cleaning up my dorm, getting souvenirs, and packing up.

If you ever dorm in Copenhagen make sure to clean up your dorm very well, they're very strict with cleaning so make sure your dorm is spotless when it comes to limescale, dust and dirt, and much more. I cleaned every surface of my dorm from the walls, shelves, and the windows. Luckly, I wasn't charged anything after my inspection, but I know some people were charged up to 12,000 DKK (~$1,885) for cleaning/replacement fees. So take it seriously!

My flight to Amsterdam (AMS) was at 6:00AM but I still had to finalize my cleaning and packing so I didn't end up getting any sleep. This was my dorm right before I left!

So bittersweet :)

Leaving Copenhagen
Leaving Copenhagen

I left for the airport at around 3:00AM. My flight back to Kona was from Copenhagen (CPH) -> Amsterdam (AMS) -> Los Angeles (LAX) -> Kailua-Kona (KOA). It was around 24 hours of travel time altogether and it was pretty rough with the lack of sleep but all in all it went well.

I miss Copenhagen a lot. As I am writing this it feels very bittersweet, but I am very grateful I got to experience this at a very young stage of my life.

Thank you for reading my blog :)
